LITERARY DIVERSITY
This week we added to the library at Brookline Public Housing High Street Veterans' Family Learning Center with a bunch of books with more diverse main characters to better represent the readers' experiences.
READING AT MATHER
As we wrap up the winter season of tutoring, we are continuing to read and have fun with the students at the Mather School. Recently, we gifted each student a book based on their individual interests so they have something to read over February break. Spring tutoring starts soon, so apply now!

The tutors for High St Veterans delivered hand-picked books to the kids to read over February Break. They enjoyed reading their new books and putting them in their reading logs. Thank you to our supporters for enabling us to bring joy to kids through reading!

Meet our lovely long-time advisory board member and mentor, Ms. Abner. We are constantly grateful for her help and support, and especially her captivating read-alouds! She has been instrumental in getting tutoring going this fall. We would also like to recognize all of our tutors and Tutoring Director Haley, who quickly organized this fall to get the program started as soon as possible!

Spring Tutoring has begun!
The spring tutoring season started on March 18. We tutor at Mather School in Dorchester on Mondays, or the Low Income Housing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
