Our MissionThe Brookline Literacy Partnership is a student-led nonprofit group at Brookline High School working to promote literacy in areas without equal access to books. We hope to prevent a lack of literacy from acting as a roadblock to self-improvement.
We are currently partnered with the Mather Elementary School in Dorchester, where we work to build up their library, improve their classroom literacy materials, and tutor children, and High Street Veterans Brookline Public Housing, where we improved their reading room and tutor children. Previously, we have partnered with Timilty School and Emerson School to create book rooms for student use. BLP Leaders
